Aloha Lily

About the Aloha Lily

The Aloha Lily is a very special improved variety of Eucomis, naturally compact with a green leaf and beautiful purple dots. The plant produces a large amount of deliciously fragrant flowers all at once.

The Aloha Lily is a very durable plant. It flowers for 3 to 4 weeks, then remains decorative with seed for another 2 to 3 months. The seed boxes become visible as soon as the flowers have wilted away, turning to a dark purple during the season. This way you still have an attractive plant after the summer.

Place the Aloha Lily in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. Water regularly to prevent the soil from drying out. Store in a cool place and do not water during the resting period (November to March). If planted out in the garden, cover with straw or leaves in the autumn. The plants will start growing again from April, to return to full glory in the summer.
