Indoors, place the Iris in the coolest possible spot and water regularly. As this bulb is fairly hardy (a few degrees of frost is not a problem) it is a very suitable plant to set on the balcony or terrace in early spring.

The flower will last at least three times longer if it is permitted to grow outdoors. By planting the Iris pot ball in open ground after it has flowered, it will grow and bloom again next year.
